Episode Synopsis: Episode 7

ruth is approached out of the blue by an odd figure from the council keith deery deery is an official council snooper but is determined that he has found a dead drop ‘message’ under a park bench in the shape...

...a letter containing the words ‘jet’ and ‘archon’ ruth feels some sensitivity for the man’s plight as her own unhappy memories resurface when she receives a letter about the house she shared with george and a photo of little nico in greece but deery’s four failed applications to mi5 and suspected mental imbalance due to the loss of his wife lead dimitri to strongly advise ruth to take the wannabe’s intel with a pinch of salt when deery accosts ruth again telling her that the girl who ‘dead dropped’ has disappeared ruth is harsher and point blank turns him away however when she looks more carefully at the letter she starts to think that maybe he’s on to something- this doesn’t look like fake intel dimitri tells her to follow her instincts and check him out- he can’t go with her as he’s got to intercept a mafia leader who’s been found on a boat on the thames
