Episode Synopsis: Episode 2

beth’s thrown in at the deep end on her first op with section d when she goes undercover as an oil trader at a secret meeting of britain’s top oil dealers the team have received intel that an assassination attempt...

...be made on influential oil baron robert westhouse and beth’s objective is to protect him the oil executives take the lift to the penthouse meeting when it suddenly stops and is showered with bullets and it seems the attempt on westhouse’s life has been made beth quickly realises that the gunmen were from her murky mercenary past and out for revenge for a mistake she made a long time ago but she is determined to keep this from the team she tells lucas and harry that she saw and heard nothing as does the only other survivor jacob chapman when ruth realises that the real assassin was in the lift and killed in the shooting she knows that something doesn’t add up beth’s assassins show their determination and track her down chapman helps beth get rid of the problem and tries to tempt her into escaping back to a life of blood and money
