About Album Charts

The iTunes album charts relate more specifically to 'collections' of tracks.

Most commonly a collection of tracks is what we traditionally would call an album (or 'LP'; a 'Long Player'). Occasionally shorter collections like 'EPs' (or 'Extended Players') are made available which feature four or five individual tracks. These releases appear ion the same chart.
