Calvin Harris (real name Adam Richard Wiles) is a Scottish singer, songwriter, producer & DJ.
His debut album, "I Created Disco", was released in 2007 and contained the top ten singles "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". He has written and produced records for other pop musicians, most notably, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Kylie Minogue (Calvin co-authored wrote and produced two songs on the X album - 'In My Arms' and 'Heart Beat Rock'). He has alos collaborated with Dizzee Rascal and has claimed to have turned down the opportunity to work with Lady Gaga.
He his known for wearing his trademark "fly eye" sunglasses.
In 2009, Calvin Harris invaded the stage of The X-Factor TV show during a performance by Irish duo, Jedward. Harris was wearing a pineapple on his head and bending over to point at his buttocks. He was quickly removed from the stage by security.
