About The Wanted
The Wanted are a boy band formed in South London in 2009. They comprise Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes.
The group was formed after auditions presided by Jayne Collins who had put together the girl group The Saturdays.
Max George, a former trainee footballer with Preston North End had previously appeared on The X-Facor as a member a boy band named Avenue. Tom Parker has performed as a member of a Take That tribute act. Nathan Sykes represented Britain in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, placing 3rd in 2004.
