Limp Bizkit are a nu-metal band formed in 1995 in Jacksonville, Florida. The band are led by vocalist Fred Durst.
They came to prominence in 1999 with the hit single 'Nookie' taken from their second album 'Significant Other'.
The band fuse elements of alternative rock and hip-hop - their line-up includes DJ Lethal who provides scratches and samples as well as keyboard sounds and Durst mixes rap-style vocals with the more usual alternative rock singing.
