About Example

Example is London-based British rapper Elliot Gleave. His stage name 'Example' is due to his initials being e.g.

Example's signed his first record deal in 2006, joining The Beats label owned by Mike Skinner of The Streets although he does own his own imprint "All The Chats".

His first release on The Beats label was "What We Made" in November 2006, the video for which was filmed in Chernobyl, Northern Ukraine - an experience that has prompted Example to be outspoken about the issue of nuclear power.

Example has collaborate with Professor Green and fellow London-based grime artists Wretch 32 and Giggs.
