Karl Pilkington is from Manchester he is a former radio producer and comedy sidekick of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
Pilkington rose to prominence as the butt of Gervais & Merchant's jokes on their Saturday morning show on Xfm London. Karl became an integral part of the show supplying the regular features 'Rockbusters', 'Celebrity Fact Club', 'Cheeky Freak Of The Week', 'Songs Of Phrase' and 'Monkey News'. He left his job as Xfm to work on Ricky Gervais' podcast in partnership with The Guardian.
