Dami Im, was born in South Korea and moved to Brisbane, Australia with her family at the age of eight.
She rose to prominence in 2013 as the winner of the Australian version of the X-Factor TV Show.
After wowing the judges in her first audition with a version of Mariah Carey's "Hero" she was mentored by Dannii Minogue.
Prior to competing in The X-Factor Im had graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009 with Music degree. After graduating she worked as a music teacher and piano tutor.
